Inspections of houses damaged by rain were observed in the presence of Mallappa Moranala, son of Municipal Council member Gangimalamma Moranal, in the Fort Ward Fort area of Mundaragi Taluk in Gadag District. Devappa Itagi, a youth leader of the BJP, said that about 4_5 houses were rained and the Gadag district minister in charge, Hon. Similarly, the government is making a sincere effort to deal with the situation of the neighboring people and reassured the people not to worry. Officers were immediately dispatched by telephone to the valid Tahsildar, who promptly dispatched officers to the site and promised to provide further relief to the Tahsildar.
