Village drowned in river water flood

Hira Hattivali village of Khanapur taluk in Belgaum district has been completely washed away by flooding of Malaprabha river in Taluk. Nearly 200 houses in the village were drowned by floods. The people in the village who had lost all of their’s, were in hunger, tearing their hands in tears. Taluk administration officials who visited the site have taken steps to ensure the safety of the victims and promised to provide them with the necessary basic amenities.
It is a matter of comfort to all those who have taken refuge in Ganji Kendra all over the state and people from all over the state have come here to find food and bedding. Fortunately, there is no casualty due to people’s presence of mind and the Jain Mandir and Kalameshwara Temple in the village are miraculously safe without any problem.
